I expect the majority of this mag’s readers will appreciate the input of the Newsboys to CCM over the best part of 15 years. Those who haven’t have a treat in store with this compilation of eight of the band’s hits. I don’t think this band need me to try add to their CV. I have not heard everything they have done neither the new venture with a worship album, but since hearing them for the first time they have never disappointed me, indeed I love them. The fantastic hooks, the lyrics and their creativity both recorded and live. “Entertaining Angels” has taken up permanent residence in my brain, the anthem “Shine” lines up alongside “I’m Not Ashamed", "Breakfast", “Reality”, “Take Me To Your Leader”, “Joy” and “Step Up To The Microphone”. Timelessly catchy pop-rock.
